Most organisations arrive with one of four questions about AI. None of the four is a stage on a path and nobody has to work through them in order. What matters is which question is actually on the table, because answering a different one is expensive, and that is usually only obvious afterwards.
Each is a separate engagement, complete on its own, and you can start anywhere. All figures are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
| Product | The question it answers | Duration | Price ex GST |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 AI Bootcamp and Use Case Workshop | What is AI really, and where might it apply to us | 1 to 2 days | $5,500 to $18,500 |
| 2 AI Readiness Assessment | Can this organisation actually absorb AI | 2 to 3 weeks | $22,000 to $33,000 |
| 3 AI Opportunity Diagnostic | Where is the AI value, and what is it worth | 5 to 6 weeks | $42,000 |
| + Ongoing AI Advisory | Is our AI work still right, and is it working | Month to month | $6,000 per month |
Read the four situations below. One of them will sound uncomfortably familiar.
Your people are using AI tools nobody approved, a vendor proposal has arrived that nobody can evaluate on its merits, and internal discussion about AI turns into people talking past each other.
You have ideas for AI and reasonable appetite, but the processes were never documented, nobody can say how accurate the data is without checking, and two technology programs quietly stalled.
Several AI candidates and no defensible way to choose between them, or one business case with a benefit figure you cannot test, against a budget or board decision with a date on it.
You are already deploying AI, with your own people or a delivery partner, and what you want is an independent view at the decision points rather than another study.
Worth stating plainly, because it is unusual and because it is the constraint that makes the rest credible.
There is a natural order. Understanding of AI, then capability to absorb it, then where the value sits. Most organisations do not follow it and do not have to. Each engagement is complete on its own and states plainly what it does not tell you.
Readiness and Opportunity are the two most often confused. Readiness looks inward at whether you could execute AI at all. The Opportunity Diagnostic looks outward at which AI work is worth executing. An organisation can be ready with nothing worth doing, or have real opportunity and be unable to act.
Only one dependency actually binds. Where both of those are open questions, readiness comes first. An AI roadmap commissioned by an organisation that cannot deliver it is the most expensive document it will buy all year.
The way in is a thirty minute conversation, at no cost and with nothing to complete beforehand, ending in an honest read on which of the four applies, including telling you when none is warranted yet. Each product has a one page summary and a full offering document that sets out the method before you commission anything.
Published in advance so you can judge the fit before you take a call. All figures in Australian dollars, excluding GST.

Delivery outside the Perth metropolitan area carries travel and accommodation at cost, plus a facilitator day rate. Larger organisations are scoped individually.
The Australian AI advisory market is bimodal: a productised small-business band at roughly $1,500 to $10,000, and a mid-market specialist band at roughly $20,000 to $60,000. C-Insight works with medium and large organisations, so our diagnostics sit in the second, deliberately at its floor rather than its ceiling. Every price is published above.
No. We previously offered an online scorecard and it has been retired. A self-completed instrument measures what the people completing it believe about the organisation, and the gap between that and what is true is usually the most useful finding we produce. What we do offer free is a thirty-minute conversation, with nothing to complete beforehand.
Never. No deliverable in any engagement names, recommends, scores or shortlists a product, platform or supplier. Every solution category is presented with at least three options, including doing nothing and improving the process without technology. You receive a capability requirement you can put to the market for a real cost.
Quoting a licence cost requires deciding which products it might be, and that is the decision we do not make. Our business cases state the software cost term openly as incomplete, with the method for closing it, rather than filling it with a modelled figure you could not defend to a board.
No. Each is complete on its own and you can start anywhere. Where both a readiness question and a value question are open, readiness comes first. Ongoing AI Advisory can follow any of the three or stand on its own, and it is never offered while a diagnostic is running.
Medium and large organisations, typically above $20 million in revenue, across all sectors. The readiness assessment bands run from up to 250 FTE through to over 1,000 FTE or multi-entity groups. The test for any individual attending a workshop is whether they would own an AI initiative, not whether they would approve one.
Yes, and each one is designed so it can. Every roadmap carries a named not-worth-doing list, the prioritisation method can produce a result requiring no platform purchase at all, and we will tell you in the first conversation when none of the four is warranted yet.
We will give an honest read on which of the four applies to you, including telling you when none is warranted yet.
